Shane Faller is Chief Financial Officer of Specialized Property Management. He has more than 20 years of residential real estate experience, including entitlement and development projects, single family rental platforms, iBuyer and marketplace offerings, and brokerage operations. Within each residential segment Mr. Faller has been responsible for financial, investment, capital, and operational teams focused on scaling organizations towards growth and excellence.

Prior to joining Specialized Property Management, Mr. Faller served as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Strategy at Zillow Homes, where he was integral in scaling the investment functions, which included property acquisitions, resale, and market development groups through close partnerships with operations, data science, and machine learning teams. Prior to Zillow, Shane was a founding member of Colony Starwood Homes, a pioneering institutional single-family platform which scaled to nearly 35,000 properties before its eventual merger with Invitation Homes. At Colony, Mr. Faller first served as the Vice President of Operations for Colony’s Fannie Mae JV partnership; he then became the Senior Vice President of Finance, leading all finance, accounting, and treasury functions through capital market and M&A activities.

Mr. Faller holds an M.B.A. from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Prior to that, he earned his B.A. from Iowa State University, where he studied Finance and Economics. Mr. Faller is also a licensed real estate broker in Arizona. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three teenage kids.
